An Amazing Fact: Every single day, about 350,000 people are added to the world’s population! At this rate, in less than two years, Earth’s population will reach 7 billion! These people will speak more than 6,900 languages, of which 2,200 still have no translation of the Bible.
The phone rang. Johnson Noble, a 34-year-old youth pastor, answered.
The voice on the other end said that they had seen an Amazing Facts television program and wanted to know more about how to follow Christ.
So Pastor Johnson invited the caller to his office for a Bible study. An educated couple from China showed up. Johnson shared the gospel, answered their questions, and they made the decision to become Sabbath-keeping Christians!
They were the first Chinese people baptized in Davao City, Philippines! And today, Johnson is planting a church among the Chinese in Davao City.

A Gospel Without Borders
Amazing Facts has an international mission to reach people from every tongue, tribe, and nation. So when I get letters like this one from the remote regions of Australia, I get excited!
“I live in the outback of Australia in a gold mining town with about 1,000 souls. My friend and I started a Bible school for children here. We have prayed for the adults to be interested in spiritual things, and finally a few mothers have come along on Sabbath afternoon to watch your DVDs. Praise God! They all have copies of Final Events and today they will see the Cosmic Conflict! We are very excited to be able to give them such informative and well-presented material. Praise God for your DVD outreach; they are working here in Australia in the middle of nowhere! … Keep going; we need you!”
We get hundreds of letters like these, telling me that God is using our media and publishing ministry from across the map.
For example, in the last three years, an evangelistic wildfire started in China with just 20 copies of the Final Events DVD given away to a few Christian workers and friends. Just 20.
Today, an unknown number of pirated copies of that end-time message have swept across China, touching countless people and sparking a surge of evangelism. Despite crackdowns on religious groups and laws that prevent public evangelism in China, these DVDs get copied like crazy and are distributed by friends across the country causing a pandemic of truth.
And now Amazing Facts is releasing 2,500 Chinese-language Cosmic Conflict DVDs in an attempt to get them mass multiplied, so that soon at least one copy will reach into every Christian church in China — adding immense fuel to the fire that is already changing lives.
This is an evangelistic strategy that is working. We’ve discovered that once we’ve produced a high-quality witnessing tool or DVD, people will order hundreds of copies, churches will distribute them widely, and multitudes of people will be reached—even in Saudi Arabia.
And by translating these materials into other languages, with lessons and websites, the impact skyrockets!
Inside Cuba
Several years ago, a mission-minded couple started visiting Cuba and taking in all the Amazing Facts materials they could manage. However, government officials confiscated everything they had. So they asked us if we would provide the original graphics so that our materials could be printed inside the country.
It was bold and ambitious. But now, these materials are being printed and paid for locally by Cubans. And the ministry is taking off, with thousands of people hearing the everlasting gospel of Christ for the first time as our DVDs and other materials are passed around!
A Gospel Without Language Barriers
Of course within the United States, we’ve seen incredible fruitfulness in our Spanish and Portuguese-speaking ministries, with the translation of the Cosmic Conflict DVD, Amazing Health Facts! and Hidden Truth magazines, and many of our TV and radio broadcasts. Plus, I have two more exciting items to report in our outreach to Spanish speakers everywhere.
- The Spanish-language edition of our advanced Study Guides was released in January 2010, and it is starting to catch on!
- And we’ve already translated our popular SabbathTruth.com website into Spanish, www.sabadobiblico.com meaning 500 million more people will be able to learn the truth of this message when it’s so important!
Again, your gifts and prayers have provided the essential spark to set ablaze a global evangelism movement that is harvesting souls for the kingdom of God.
Christ promised that this gospel seed, which you have helped us plant in faith, sown into fertile soil, would produce 30, 60, and 100 fold! That’s the very miracle that’s producing a bountiful harvest today through Amazing Facts. Billions More to Reach
Right now, we are working hard to translate DVDs, websites, Bible studies, and other ministry materials into Chinese, Spanish, French, and Russian. These projects are a sizeable investment for our ministry.
But this begins to only scratch the surface of the world’s great need …
- India alone has 16 official languages, representing almost one billion people who need to hear the good news. We must continue translation work to reach them!
- We have Bible lessons in the Farsi language of Iran and Afghanistan, but not in Arabic, which is spoken by more than 220 million people in many different countries.
- 145 million people in the world speak Russian as their first language. Additionally, Russian is still one of the pivotal languages spoken among millions in former Soviet countries. We have our television programs in Russian but no Bible lessons.
We choose these languages carefully for maximum impact. And as long as we see people responding to the gospel, Amazing Facts, with your help, will continue to reach them in as many of the world’s languages as we can.

A Unique Update
A soldier serving in Afghanistan wrote us requesting that we send our Bible studies to his friend in the military. Well, it turned out to be much more than that, as we soon got a request to send as much as we could for their on-base library. So we put together a package including the Final Events and Cosmic Conflict DVDs, plus books and Bible studies. They wrote to tell us how much they have been enjoying our resources — please pray that it now makes an eternal difference to these brave men and women!
