An Amazing Fact:To maintain a fixed position 22,000 miles above the equator while the planet is rotating, satellites must move through space at 6,877 mph. A television signal broadcast from the earth’s surface can travel to the satellite and back to your TV in half-a-second. God says that just before Jesus returns, an angel will give a loud shout. These satellite birds are like angels in the sky that can reach any place on earth with a thunderous message of Bible truth in seconds!
Looking at events in the world today, the nearness of Jesus’ coming seems more real to me than it ever has ... and yet every day thousands of people are lost without Jesus.
That’s why it’s my passion is to reach people EVERYWHERE — ALL THE TIME! So I’ve been earnestly praying for years that, if it was His will, God would open the way for Amazing Facts to broadcast the truth on TV 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Aiming for the Stars
A few years ago, that dream seemed out of reach. Buying even an hour of TV time is itself very expensive. I thought, “How could we ever afford to stay on TV all day long?” But we began praying for it — a faith-filled prayer that somehow God would work a miracle.
And glory to God, He did it! Amazing Facts now has our own TV channel! It’s called AFTV — Amazing Facts TV!
For the first time ever, we’re broadcasting on television 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — all across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean!
Reaching Millions More
This means Amazing Facts is now broadcasting alongside the biggest religious-themed networks in the world. (It’s the same satellite that carries TBN, Daystar, the Word, and many others.) Just think of it! Anyone with satellite receivers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America can watch the Bible truth NOW! The potential of this broadcast outreach expansion is truly amazing!
The programming on this satellite is “free to air,” which means that ANYONE who purchases a small, inexpensive satellite system can tune in to our programs anytime they want — day or night — for free!
They will also receive 3ABN, Hope Channel, Loma Linda, and many more! They don’t have to subscribe or pay a cable fee to get these programs. And with an internet connection, anyone can watch our channel from anywhere around the world at www.AmazingFacts.tv.
Of course, this DOESN’T mean that this channel is free to Amazing Facts. But you’ll be surprised to know that it only costs us $24.67 per hour for broadcast time — an incredibly reasonable investment! Still, there are a lot of hours in a month, so it’s a step of faith for us ... and we’ll certainly need your help to make this incredible (and unscheduled) ministry expansion possible.
In the past, our television broadcasts have been like an occasional sun shower, falling on selected cities at various times. But now it’s like a torrential monsoon. We can shower thirsty souls with the living water “from the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3). We’ll reach many, many more people, and do it all day long!
Endless Possibilities!
We’re already planning a slate of fresh new programs that will feature some bright new evangelists. We will also present relevant revival messages and boldly address some of the neglected hot-button subjects within the church.
Through it all, we’ll be reaching an entire spectrum of believers surfing the many religious channels available, meaning we have a wonderful chance to reach out to the lost sheep of the house of Israel with powerhouse preaching! It’s an incredible opportunity for Amazing Facts to share the three angels’ messages like never before.
It thrills me to see this day! There are so many other great ministry benefits too:

- We can produce LIVE evangelistic and revival events throughout the year focused on special Bible topics and even health presentations.
- One thing I’m REALLY excited about is that we can now carry Bible Answers Live radio program on television!
I’m convinced that this breakthrough is one of the most efficient and effective ways to use your gifts to proclaim the gospel in these last days.
Preserving Our “Freedom of Preach”
These enemies of the gospel are relentless in their efforts to suppress Christian broadcast ministries. They want to silence Christians from taking various moral positions.
And already in Canada, some Christian broadcasters cannot speak against certain behaviors because it is considered a hate crime! This actually could happen soon in the USA, but only to those who are broadcasting on “land-based stations.” But if we broadcast directly from a satellite in space, we will be exempt from the FCC rules that restrict our freedom of “preach!”
That’s another reason why moving to our own satellite station is so important right now. It keeps us broadcasting freely while the Lord tarries patiently with this wicked world. It also outsmarts an enemy who would like to muzzle our message. God’s Word is not in chains (2 Timothy 2:9)... nor will it ever be!
Multiplying the Message
I’m reminded of David facing Goliath. This breakthrough is like a slingshot for us. It catapults Amazing Facts television programs into a completely different realm of ministry. We are taking the Word to the enemy’s territory 24/7/365!
The costs are very reasonable — only about $592 per day for the entire 24 hours. So you can see why I’m thrilled. And I’m sure you can also see how you can help.
At just $24.67 per hour of broadcast time, I hope you’ll consider a monthly pledge to help underwrite this incredible ministry. A gift of $24.67 can help pay for one full hour of broadcasting time per month; $49.34 will provide two hours; and $98.68 will provide four hours. Of course, the more you give, the more we can broadcast!
We have taken on this new channel by faith, hoping to expand our programming above and beyond our current investment in TV. However, we also need to stay on the land-based channels we are currently on without scaling back — we need to keep reaching people in all the ways God has made available, whether land-based or satellite.
