Racquetball    By Eric Kaiser on 2/19/2007 8:58 AM
Doug Batchelor is the best speaker I've ever heard. God bless him! Do you consider yourself to be a A, B, or C level player in racquetball? Also, what kind of racquet do you have?

hi...    By Liam on 2/19/2007 8:58 AM
hey, what university did Pastor Batchelor graduate from?

Re: test blog response    By Doug Batchelor on 2/26/2007 8:46 AM

Some quick answers to your questions...
I was born in 1957 and I am probably a “B” level Racquetball player (depending on how well I've slept).
I received my PhD in theology from Southwestern University in 1999.
Thanks for helping test the Blog.

March came in like a Lion!    By John Hallberg Jones on 3/12/2007 9:28 AM
In Minneapolis the last 7 days have brought 2 snowstorms that put over 2 feet of snow in our yard. March came in like a Lion, but we've got the Lamb as our Saviour. Blessings to you, Pastor Doug, on your 50th birthday next Friday. I look forward to seeing you in Chicago on May 5th.

Health Club    By Kaiser on 3/12/2007 9:28 AM
I am just getting into the health message and heard that you go to the health club and I was wondering how often and what you do at the gym for exercise? I have been reading Ministry of Healing and was convicted I needed to sweat a little.

In January I got "hooked" on the Everlasting Gospel messages. I do not have an IPod so I've downloaded them on my laptop and I can be seen with my earbuds connected to my laptop which is slung over my shoulder in a carrying bag! Thanks so much for the insightful messages, your drive to send us back to the Bible! I for one am thankful.

Cutting Edge Ministry    By Soulseeker on 4/2/2007 7:37 AM
I have been observing Doug Batchelor and the amazing "Amazing Facts Ministry" for the last couple years. Doug you are an inspiration and gifted Evangelist - God has certainly called you to proclaim a message of Hope for this generation. In my own evangelistic journey's, many people are excited about the cutting edge DVD, "The Finals Events of Bible Prophecy". We can't wait for the completion of the "The Great Controversy" DVD to be completed.

MORE of Doug's Sermons Wanted!    By Allison on 10/15/2007 9:42 AM
Hello Pastor Doug,<br>Our family is learning so much from your Everlasting Gospel sermons and we were wondering if you plan to upload some more sermons soon... we don't want to 'run out' of your fresh material. PLUS, is there a way to download your weekly Sabbath live sermons? We are in church down here in Southern Calif. when you are preaching, but we would love to listen to your sermons later on.<br>Oh.. and we have a new family Friday night tradition. Every Friday night when the sun goes down, it is "Doug Batchelor Time!!" We hook up the computers and speakers and watch one of your prophecy seminars! The kids really like it!!! My 8 yr old is always asking, "Can we go listen to Pastor Doug?"<br>Blessings! Steve and Allison Horton and family Banning, CA

Thank you    By Angela Farnham on 6/3/2007 2:17 PM
Dear Pastor Batchelor,
Neither of us have enough time at this moment [Im getting ready for church :) ] for me to tell you my story-- God has done so many real miracles in my life....the kind where the moment I sent up a prayer it was answered AND I knew it. I would love to share them...BUT the reason why Im writing today is ....I was raised Adventisit, left when I was about 14 and returned when I was 33..OHHH the things I could tell you--but again time is a factor. I was rough and torn up by the world. Someone gave me cassette tapes of different speakers and you were one, I can NOT begin to explain to you how you've impacted my life....expecially since I really need to be getting ready for church [:)] I thank God for you. OHHHHHHH I have to go...Theres sooo much more I'd like to say. Pastor Batchelor---Thank you.

The gift of speech    By Dolly on 7/9/2007 10:25 AM
Dearest Pastor Doug, God Has chosen you for a purpose. He has given many of his children the opportunity, knowledge and ability to teach about the love the truth and promises our Father gives us. My children and I go to church every sabbath, my husband does not go and is not a Cristian. However, the Lord chose you to touch my husbands heart, along with many of our young and old adults. We would love for you to come do a seminar in Ohio. May God Bless You....Cause Satin is hitting hard and strong... May God bless us all...

Please hurry on Great controversy DVD    By Sinai on 7/9/2007 10:26 AM
Dear Pastor Doug,
I did not know that the Great Controversy DVD was being made. Please hurry. When will it be done?
Anxiously waiting.
May God give you strength to finish the work He started in you.
My husband came to know about Jesus a little bit through your book The Truth about Mary Magdalene. Thank you.

Hello    By Heather on 7/10/2007 10:28 AM
I have a few questions for Paster Doug. I would first like to say that I am thankful for your ministry and for the seminars that you do. My family and I have been going to the Seventh Day Adventist church in our area for about 2 months and we are going to fisti another one this Sabbath in the next town. Anyway I would like to know what kind of book you have in your home library or what books or recorces you study from. I heard you mention the dead sea scrolls and some capcul from the general that over took Babalon. I just wanted to know because I would like to do more studing and I only want good credible recources. I do have one more question. I would like to know about getting help for my husband. He is not very assertive and does not let God lead him the majority of the time. He has trouble trusting that God will look after us and help us. I would like to help him to be stronger so he can lead our family instead of me. My email is familly4@verizon.net, If you would kindly email me and answer my questions I would appreciate it. But thank you just the same for all you have done. Byebye

Hi Pastor Doug    By Philip on 7/21/2007 8:58 PM
I know that you have so many commitments - anyway, if you were coming to England, Lord-willing, I am sure that many would look forward to hearing sermons of the level that I have seen on the amazing facts website, thank you, Philip philgcdr@yahoo.co.uk

G'day from Brisbane, Australia    By Steven Marnock on 7/21/2007 8:58 PM
Hi Doug<br><br>I just wanted to say you are the only person I have ever really listened to about God. You have a way with people that other pastor's dont seem to have. But most of all you seem genuine and I like your sense of humour, even the non christian can be attracted to your personality. God bless you. I thank you so much for your intresting and logical sermons. Truly you are are servant of God. I was once part of the world but found Jesus and my life has been better every day since. The last 2 years have been the best of my life. If you are ever in Brisbane, Australia and need a hand with anything let me know. My email address is fair_dinkum_m8@hotmail.com .Cheers, Steven

Egypt to canaan - Prophetic?<br>Hi Pastor Doug. I've been watching your seminars and seeing you on sat. tv for about 8 years now and feel like you are my big brother (aargh - the pain of celebrity! - sorry!). The Lord sure has used you to help me and so many. I can't wait to meet you in the kingdom and spend good times!! Do you answer questions from this site? I was wondering if you've thought/preached about a prophetic application of the Egypt to Canaan story. As I was in the word recently, it came to me that it fit perfectly - and we're in over time in Earth's history! Is it applicable do you think? sandyduke@exemail.com.au

Re: Welcome to my new website!    By Michaela Jeffries on 10/15/2007 10:01 AM
Dear Pastor Doug,<br>I hope you will peruse my message, because I have something important to say to you. I have been touched by your sermons. You are indeed a very prolific speaker. God has truly blessed you in so many ways. I can see the love in your heart that you have for God. It shows in your face. There is a Christian glow on your face that gives me spiritual encouragement. Actually, you are the best speaker I have ever heard. I also enjoy your sense of humor. It is a refreshing and most welcoming. I am sure every audience would concur.<br>You have a very sweet family. I look forward to your present, and future sermon topics, because I feel we will be truly blessed. <br>I feel that Christ is coming very soon to take us home with Him. We are living in Matthew 24. How wonderfu and exciting it is to be living in God's last day event's. <br>May the God of heaven richly bless your and your ministry.

<br> Dear Pastor Batchelor!<br>I am a swedish speaking finn that up to recently discovered some"amazing facts". ;) This due to lifestyle channel on sat.tv. Remember the seminars in sweden 2006(7th day Adventist church)? I want to give You and Your coworkers my best regards! <br>I am the only member of my family that has been baptized in Jesus Christ. I learned the challenge of choosing another lifestile, not only by former friends but by own family! I sometimes feel alone, however, I know I am not! One can never be alone in Christ! I am aware of that and it keeps me going/fighting for the truth. My mums englishscales are not the best but due to translation into swedish that these seminars had, she now finds you very interesting, even clever! She is not baptised and still afraid of knowing Jesus personally. Her personal history is still breaking her heart and often I have deep concerns for her. However, more frequently she allows herself to watch other programs that you preaches in and I try to assist her in translation to swedish. I pray that this can be one tool of help for her in finding her way to Jesus. We truly has an awsome God! <br>Sincerely Yours, Caroline<br>

More news    By Lee on 10/15/2007 10:11 AM
Request more frequent blog updates, minimum once a month. Fine if you have your staff assemble a report from the previous weeks of activities; just glad to know what you and your associates are working on.

Included with a response to a question from Amazing Facts, was a list of other sites including this one! I never saw an announcement on the AF site or an announcement from sac central, but am very glad it's here! I completely agree with everyone about Doug's wonderful gift of evangelism and enthusiasm. Although I realize there's a reason for my circumstances, I do wish I had found my place in life as early as you did. I'm still searching. God really made great things happen for you. I hope it happens for me soon. Please pray for me and thank you again for your work.
